Hilary Rose is an Irish stage and screen actress. She is best known for her comedy character Handy Sandie from the hit Irish TV comedy show The Republic of Telly. Hilary created the character Handy Sandie which she co-writes with her husband, award winning director Peter Foott.

Hilary began her career in performance in 2005. She studied at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa, The Gaiety School of Acting and the Irish Film Academy. Hilary is currently signed to the Ann Curtis Agency in Dublin. Email: info@anncurtis.ie

Hilary is also known as DJ HER. DJ HER is described as a "Rising Star" on the Irish club scene with a long standing residency in Dublin's finest underground club, The Pygmalion. In 2011 she signed to AMA Music Agency and she has a weekly radio show on RTE Pulse called 'Turn it Up!'. Her musical motto...."Bring the Bass!".
